How I Wear My Uniform

{ Well, today is Saturday so I am here to bring you another blog post! I hate having to wait this long to post stuff, but I just get way to busy in the week. Yesterday was our first football game! It was our first home game of the season, and we won! I am a cheerleader this year so I'll probably do a post about cheer, like how I wear my curly hair for that, and little tips i've picked up long the way! I'm also going to  Wild Goose Chase tonight, which is a super fun event that my school does, and I'll probably take a few pictures of my outfit before I leave to show you. }

So today I wanted to show you guys how I wear my unifrom. This is the first of a few of these uniform posts I will be doing. This is just a few ideas of how you could wear your hair, uniform, and makeup to school. (And yes I said uniform). My lovely school makes us wear uniforms, but they aren't that bad- you don't have to stress about what to wear everyday, and no one is judging you for your clothes.

But having uniforms, many girls don't know how to accessories them. I'm a sophomore now so I have really gotten down how I accessoreis and how I wear my unifroms. Thankfully, we have a lot of options for uniforms, but I dont wear many of them. We also have pretty strict rules on shoes and a few accessory rules, but I'll get into that later!

So first I'll start off with my hair. If you are new to my blog, then you wouldn't know that I have really thick, long, curly hair. Somtimes my same old hairstyles get boring, so I like to change it up. I know I have a lot of curly-haired girl followers out there, so all these hairstyles are for you! So today I wanted to go for a chic bun. I put my hair in a medium ponytail, then I started pinning up my hair in random places with bobby pins. The point of this is to make the bun look full and to be messy! You also want some curls to hang out a little cause it looks cute! Once I had all my hair nicely secured, I like to loosen up the roots, which gives it a more casual, cute look. Then I took two head bands and placed them on my head with about one inch of space in-between them. It gives your hair a very greacen look, and I love it!!

So now we move on to my makeup. I like to keep things simple and natural for my everyday makeup routine. I always regret wearing tons of makeup half way through the school day because your face gets more oily, and it just feels gross (plus most drugstore makeup won't last that long). For my lips, I am wearing my new Baby Lips crystal in the shade "Crystal kiss". I really like this and i think it is a great color!

For my face I always use my Bare Minerals foundation. I love it so much because it gives you such a light finish, which most of us need, and it looks incredibly natural. It doesn't make your face as oily as a cream foundation, and it lasts for a really long time. It is also not going to make your face break out which is always a plus!

For my eye makeup, I am wearing my Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade "inked in pink". This is a cream eye shadow and it's super pigmented, very shimmery, and natural looking which, if you couldn't tell, I really like!

Next, for my cheeks I am using my Maybelline Dream Boucy Blush in the color "peach satin". This was really big on youtube a while back, but I just now got it. I really like this peachy color, and it seems to last a pretty long time!

For my eyelashes I wanted to keep it really basic and natural today. I am wearing my Maybelline Great Lash clear mascara! I love clear mascara- it will never smudge like black mascara, it won't take off eyelashes when you remove it, and its not harmful to your lashes. I also use this for my eyebrows to try and keep them in place!

So for my accessories, I'm wearing my Target purse, and my backpack. This purse is the purse I carry for school, and it's the perfect size when you are carrying a backpack too. My backpack is from Vonmaur, and its a really cute, yet sturdy backpack. When I have a lot of books I will carry this, but normally I carry my brown tote from target without my purse.

 I am wearing my black ballet flats from target, y plaid skirt and a white oxford shirt tucked into my plaid skirt. I really like this combination of my uniform, and l think it looks really preppy and classy. Next time I will show you a completely different combination that I do sometimes.
Also I forgot to take a picture, but today I wore a pink flower bracelet that matched my pink head band.

Here is a picture to show you my nail color and my earrings. This is my essie color in the shade "Lady Like", and I am wearing some fake pearl earrings from Forever 21. I think they add a preppy feel to the outfit, which is always a plus for me!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I want to give a big thank you to Alycia, who is going to be now editing my posts! It is a really big help, and I'll probably get to post more often becuase of it!!
