This is a really natural easy makeup look that I think would be great for everyday. For school I like to look cute on Fridays so I would probably do this on a day that I want to look cuter on. Normally I go without makeup or very light amount. Side notes Annabelle doesn't wear this everyday because she is so beautiful she doesn't need it. she just wanted to show you what you could wear!
Also another side note is that while we were doing this we were watching "So You Think You Can Dance" in my basement with my family. So if you see my brother on the side of some of these pictures that's why and I'm sorry the lighting and background aren't very good!
So for her face she started with some BareMinerals foundation. She used my "Fairly Light" but make sure whenever you get foundation it is the right shade. Those makeup lines are not cute ladies. I really like BareMinerals because it is such a light foundation it's perfect for school. She just used a fluffy brush to blend it all into her skin.
So next to add some contrast to her face she went in with her "Too Faced" bronzer. She blended this in under her cheek bones, on her neckline and on her temples. It's good to have some contrast to your face so you don't look like one shade of beige! Make sure the bonzer isn't too dark.
Next she filled in her eyebrows with the bottom color on this palette. The lid was missing so I'm not sure where it was from but I know you can get some good eye brow filler stuff at drug stores. I personally have never filled in my eyebrows because mine are naturally really thick and big. If you do want to fill them in I would suggest getting some help and advice, it can either really make your face beautiful or look extremely bad.
Next she did her eyelashes. She actually uses two mascaras. I apologise that you can't really see the mascara bottles that well. But the first one she uses is a "Loreal, telescope black" mascara. As you can see by the picture of the brush its pretty thin and long. This will make your lashes look longer. The next mascara she uses is the "Loreal, telescope shocking extensions" mascara. This brush is fuller which will make your lashes fuller.
Next she did her eyeliner. She does it really well and I think it looks really good on her. She uses her "stilla, stay all day waterproof mascara" and its a felt tip. I think you should save eyeliner for maybe when you are a junior or senior or on a fancier day.
And lastly for her lips she used the new "Maybelline Baby Lips crystal" It really tops off this natural makeup look and is really great for your lips! I think a chap stick like this is perfect for school. Leave the lip stick for the weekends and just use some simple lip gloss or chap stick.
Here is the final look. I think it looks really pretty and natural. And if you are one of those girls who doesn't want to wear makeup to school girl, I salute you! I think every girl should go to school without makeup at least one day a week! Makeup is to enhance beauty not cover your face.
A big thank you to Annabelle for being such a beautiful model for me and guest starring on my blog!
So now I wanted to talk just a little bit about the new Baby Lips line. If you have followed my blog for a while now you would know that I love me some Baby Lips and I love telling you guys what I think about them. So when I was at target I was like wow I need to try these out!
So the baby lips have their original line, then they have a neon line, then they made a doctor rescue line and now they have a shimmer line. It's basically like the other ones just now shimmery!!
This is the one I got, its in the color crystal kiss. The other colors include, gleaming coral, pink quartz, beam of blush, mirrored mauve, and twinkle taupe. They are some really beautiful colors so I would suggest you go check those other ones out.
Here is a before picture of just my lips,
and an after picture with the new Baby Lips crystal
I really love this new line the only thing is that it doesn't last very long but I don't have much complaint other than that! I would definitely recommend going and checking these out, I got mine at Target but I know that Walmart and probably Walgreens has them!
I hope you got some good tips and ideas from this blog post! If you want to be featured on my blog I love having models since I can't show my face! Let me know and I'd love to have you! Have an amazing day!
You are looking really fabulous, flawless and simply gorgeous. I did my makeup lesson by makeup artist Lina Cameron, she taught me how to bring glam and glow on regular faces, how to do gorgeous makeup with minimum products. She helped me a lot to improve my skills and to create my own level.
