If you read my post last week then you would have read that I love dressing up for church. Well, this week I went to Journey The Way with my sister. It is a super casual church so I decided to wear some of my new clothes I bought this summer. This outfit is also great for a day out running errands. Though I will warn you I was burning up just walking from my car to the house in these dark jeans.

I am wearing my new jeans from American Eagle Outlet. I probably tried on 30 pairs of jeans before I decided on these. I think that a good pair of jeans is super important thing to have in your wardrobe. In America we wear them all the time so having a pair that you love, fit you perfectly and look nice is a really good idea. 

My shirt is from Gap Outlet. I love how its a t shirt but the chiffon material in the back dresses it up. It's a super comfortable shirt that can be paired with lots of different bottoms. My shoes I just recently purchased at Target. I had been looking for some cool sandals this summer and Target has a huge selection! My bag is my moms vintage cross body she got at a second hand store. My tortoise shell iPhone case I found on Amazon, a great stuff for all your phone accessories.

 

 

Last week I went to Colorado. Colorado is my favorite place on earth for many reasons. Not only do I love the mountains and activities that go with the mountains such as; skiing, hiking (in small amounts) and hanging out with family, but they also have my favorite shopping center, the "Silverthorne Outlet Stores". They have stores from Jcrew to Calvin Klein. Whenever I go shopping, it's always a big shopping trip because, honestly I don't go shopping all the time. I love to save up my money and then spend a lot at Silverthorne cause I can get more things and it's cheaper. 

This dress was one of the items I snagged with lots of others for a really great price. This dress is from American Eagle and was originally priced at around $60 and I got it for about $20!! I love the feminine vibe of this dress and the material is really comfortable to wear. It would have been a great graduation dress, that is if I graduated this year. 

I am wearing my brown leather purse that my dad for got me in Budapest when he was on a business trip. It's a great bag that goes with a lot. My mint sandals, my sister got for me when she traveled to Spain. My family is blessed to be able to travel a lot and I'm blessed that they are very generous and think of me on their travels. The bracelet I have on, I thought paired perfectly with this flowery dress and it is from Forever 21.

My makeup I waned to keep very natural and glowy today, I'm wearing my favorite Bare Minerals foundation that is just the right coverage for me. For my under eye circle I am wearing my Nars concealer. and My mascara is the Maybelline brown mascara. I am also wearing blush and bronzer and some Burts Bees lip gloss. A super light and airy makeup for the summer, nothing too heavy is the way to go. And my hair is just my crazy natural curls haha.

I went to church today so that is why I am dressed up. That is one of my favorite things about church, is that you get to dress up, and as my parents always said, "give God your best". I know now that most churches are more casual but I couldn't imagine not dressing up for church on Sundays, it's Tradition! Let me know in the comments below, if you dress up for church.

Today I went to church like every other Sunday. They actually had this really cool special thing at church where the church choir and a whole orchestra went through the story of Jesus' birthday and in between each song the pastor would read some thing about each song and how it related. It was so beautiful to hear all the talented people in my church using their gifts to worship and glorify God.

Today I wore my new skirt that I got on Black Friday from Francesca's. It's a very holiday skirt and I will probably wear it for Christmas if I don't wear one of my dresses. I love this new type of skirt it's a very thick material that is super stiff. I really like the material cause it doesn't show every little bump or anything. It's such a bright skirt I decided to tone it down with all black and some color with the shoes. 

Like I said I am wearing my new skirt that I got on Black Friday. It was originally around 40$ and the whole store was 40% off so I got it for around 22$. That's still pretty expensive for a Black Friday sale but since I loved it some much I decided to get it.

Today I decided to go with  more understated pieces because I was gong to church and the skirt is a party on its own. I am wearing a black long sleeve shirt from Forever 21. Some thick, black tights (because it was cold outside) and my Urbann Outfitters red ballet flats. And my nail polish is a maroon color from Essie in the shade "Bahama Mama".
