Hello hello. I interrupt these post on Ireland updates and travel to tell you guys about a wonderful company called Wool and the Gang. I've knit since I was little taught from my mother. I've mostly done hats and socks but knew I needed a longer project for Ireland. My mom told me about this company and I started to research. This company is amazing! Most of their yarn is made from plastic water bottles from the ocean though they do have natural fibers as well. This particular sweater I made is one of those yarns.
You can buy a kit which comes with the pattern, exactly all the yarn you need and the needles. It's not cheap but when is the good stuff ever cheap? It's a great company and they have really awesome patterns ranging in difficulty. You should check it out and get knitting! This is the
Mother of Pearl sweater. I'm currently knitting the Mama Sweater which is going much faster. This sweater took probably a month to make thanks to train and bus rides.
