Cliffs of Moher

On Sunday I made Asa get up really early (7...) to start our 1.5 hour drive to the Cliffs of Moher. We had been told they weren't worth it, but we went anyway. The drive was winding roads and beautiful countryside. When we arrived I was delighted to see we had in fact beat the crowds. We started off on the 6 mile walk to the end of the peninsula.

We were amazed at the lack of wind, rain, and the high visibility. They really were majestic and in fact worth it. I would highly suggest getting there before 9 am and doing the walk. It was only 4 euro per person which wasn't bad at all.

Did I spend an hour making this? you decide.

"skeert" as Asa would say

I completely missed work week and recruitment at my sorority. Feeling a bit guilty and missing the community so here's a kappa repping photo.

I'm telling you, these shoes are the best thing I have ever purchased. Leather boots made for any weather. I purchased some leather oil from Cabellas which hopefully help with the rain and extend the life. I will forever keep replacing these shoes. Blundstones to be exact. I purchased mine on Poshmark because, of course I did.

We finally made it to the end, to find that the tower was not accessible to the public and had been fenced off. Asa was distraught to say the least.

Once we started heading back we started seeing the swelling crowds people warned us against. We hopped in the car as more buses rolled up, ate our sandwiches and ginger beer and were off for the next adventure.

On our way to Galway we stopped at Dunguare castle and talked about Asa's aspiring caste design business. His gator supplier was trying to rip him off, but his designs were innovative, the business hasn't taken off yet though...weird.

Next we went to the hip town of Galway. This town was chalked full of musicians, from shirtless 7 people bands, to microphone in hand passionate street singers people side stepped to avoid. I liked Galway much more than Dublin. It was smaller with more walking only streets, it reminded more of the Pacific Northwest. We ate a delicious Italian diner with a delightfully enthustatics waiter and headed to our next Airbnb location in Sligo.

Sligo was a bit of a drive so I played our childhood car trip staple, the Louis L'Amour dramatized stories about the Wild West, cowboys, and bad men. It was a beautiful drive up the coast with a mountainous view.

next time see the sights of Slieve League....or the fog for that matter.
