After giving my speech yesterday about Dressember and encouraging the girls to join me I had no idea the overwhelming feedback I would receive. As I walked into school this morning a little nervous about being the only one in a dress I instantly had 15 girls come up to give me cash for their button. Before 9 I had a wad of $800 in a plastic bag. I was almost brought to tears by how many girls understood the seriousness of this problem and were willing to participate. Combining online and cash as of right now 9:15 am we have over $1300. I am so thankful for these amazing girls and everything the Lord is doing in the halls of my school.
Update: from now is 9:15 pm and we are at $1800 including online and cash!

Today I wore a $5 black maxi dress I purchased at the Goodwill. It is insanely comfortable and made me feel comfortable all day because it was very covering. I added this cheetah print sweater to add some coverage because the dress is a racerback. I wore my black toms (haha haven't worn those since 8th grade). Maxi dresses are a really safe option if you are battling what to wear and still trying to follow the modesty guidelines.
