I wanted to tell you little bit more about Paige and how this collaboration came about. It was totally a God thing that one day I came across her Instagram and saw that she had a blog called "His Biblical Beauty". By chance, I found out she was a christian which made me very excited, and she also lived in the same state that I do. I was so excited to find someone who had such similar interest that I had so I shot her an emailed explaining who I was. We eventually met and got to know each other and figure out we are basically the same person!
Today we bring you a collaboration of fourth of July clothing. We bring you two different looks, a casual more classic Fourth of July look, and a fancier toned down look. We took my red dress to style it for ourselves and her blue and white shirt to base our outfits off of. Our styles are a bit different which I think is good to show you guys there are lots of different ways to style things.
We met up in a small town in between our two towns and Paige's lovely friend Bailey was our fantastic photographer. I love the settings we used, the first is a old train station and it had this really cool brick building and a cute little fountain. It was perfect for a classic American place. The second location is a big white house we found, it reminded me of a classic white house you would find in Virginia or something.
This is my red dress and my fancy outfit. I would say this outfit would be great for a date and if you wanted to you could throw on a cute little sweater later in the evening. I like that this is still patriotic but you are still looking classy. My red crochet dress I purchased at Apricot Lane. I really like this dress and the lightness of it. Today I decided to belt it with a leather braided belt I got a JCpenny's a long time ago. This dress you can wear loosely but I wanted a more put together look.
My wedge heels are from Famous Footwear and I am definitely very happy that I bought these. I had been looking for some wedges for a really long time but I could never find the right style and fit. But these are perfect, they go with everything, they aren't too high, and they are pretty comfortable. I am also wearing some blue dangling earrings to add a pop of blue.
So, that was my first outfit and you can see a a little preview of Paige's outfit. But make sure you head over to her blog to see more details on her outfit and lots more pictures!!
Check out Bailye's Facebook page to see more of her photography here!
Make sure you check back in a few days for the next casual outfit! I hope to be posting it on Thursday. Have a wonderful rest of your day and week. I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some ideas on what to wear.
