Spring is here! I love spring so much and I am so ready for warmer weather. Where I live, our weather is very bipolar. Recently, however it's been really fantastic. Speaking of good weather, not only is spring here but school is almost over. I am ecstatic and also super sad. My brother is a senior this year and it's going to really stink without him next year.
Because, it was so nice out, a friend of mine at school and I wanted to do a little photo shoot, and well we did. We went to this really cool waterfront place and she shot some pretty fantastic photos. I was really impressed and excited about how they came out.
Kate Callahan, is who took the photos. God has gifted her with a talent and I am so happy that she wants to share that with others. You can check out her instagram here. I can't wait to see where God takes her with photography and other things in her life.
This outfit is my go-to preppy spring outfit. It's super sophisticated without being uppity if you know what I mean. I am wearing my new striped blue and white shorts from Gap. Let me tell you about these shorts. These are probably my favoriteest (most definitely not a word) shorts that I have ever owned. They are super flattering, they aren't super short, and they are adorable. I would head on over to Gap and pick up these shorts if you haven't already!
My shirt is a white Ralph Lauren button up. I actually took this from my little brothers closet cause I liked it and it fit! This happens a lot and you could say he isn't to fond of that. Borrowing from siblings is like the best of both worlds. You get to wear the clothes, but you don't have to buy them, wash them or store them in your closet.
For this outfit I knew that I needed to have some equally as cute accessories to pair. I am wearing my brown leather-like sandals from Target. These are my go-to sandals because they are super versatile. Another staple in my closet are my black sunglasses from Forever 21. They are the perfect sunglasses for me because not only were they super cheap, so if I break or loose them it's not that big of a deal, but they are also the right size for my face. Some sunglasses and just swallow a person right up.
My other accessories include my other staple, a gold watch. I wear this almost everyday to school. Not because I like to read those types of watches, but of course because I like it and it was cheap. I got it at Francesca's on sale. My earrings my friend gave me for my birthday and they are Kate Spade. I normally don't wear those types of statement earrings like these, but I really like them! And to add a pop of girly I added a blue sash belt that I bowed in the front.
