The Fourth of July

Well today is all about the great place called America, though many teenagers are saying murca in stead. We all know that on the Fourth of July you are suppose to wear something that symbolises America. If that is incorporating a flag in the outfit or wearing the country's colors.

Normally my fourth of July outfits are a more subtle patriotic feel. I'm not huge into wearing flags or shirts that say America but, hey if they are cute enough I'll wear them. Last year on my blog I showed you guys a few options on how to create a fourth of July outfit with just things in your closet. This year I didn't really have time to do a Diy or more than one outfit.

Today I took some fun pictures of my outfit that I am wearing today. Also at the end of this post I took my top 3 favorite outfits that I saw on instagram today! So what kind of Fourth of July outfit are you wearing? Are you more like me and a subtle patriotic dresser or are you more like others and like wearing flags and things.

So let me explain my outfit now. This red dress I recently got from my sister, so shout out to my big sister for this cute dress. It's from Forever 21 and I thought it was a pretty close red to the flag red. So for the blue I wore my blue fabric belt. I actually got this along time ago I think it came with some shorts. I also wore some blue socks with silver accents. My Dad got these in England for me and they are a very thin material which is kind of nice in the summer. For the white I am wearing my all American white converse. And I'm also wearing some little white rose earrings!

For my makeup and hair I actually went a little more dramatic for some reason. For my hair I put it up cause it's just way to hot to wear it down. It's in a low pony tail and I wrapped my hair around my pony tail holder to make it a little more sophisticated. For my makeup I did a darker eye and some bold red lips. I think the over all looks is super cute and patriotic.
