         Since summer is around the corner that means that swimming suit shopping is here! Many of you may have already bought your swimming suit but some of you haven't so this is for you! Today I will be taking one swimming suit from every style. From bikinis to monokinis. Basically I got together some of my favorites of these styles. Most of these suits I found using the very helpful app, The Hunt. If you see an outfit you like you can upload it there and people will help you find it. It's really helpful and a lot of fun to play around with.

         Before I really start I want to take a minute and talk about modesty. Although I don't think many bikinis are very modest I do think you can still find some that are going to be more modest then others. It also depends on the setting. Let's say if you are with all your girl friends just hanging out I think it is totally OK to wear whatever you want. But if you are at a class swim party with tons of guys and you know you are going to want to swim and do flips off the board and stuff why not just save your self some embarrassment and dirty looks from the moms and wear an appropriate swimsuit. I'm just going to get really honest here and say I'm pretty shocked at the swimming suits girls wear now. I mean come on you are wearing like 30 square inches of material. For what? to look cute? Cause the modest swim suits are ugly? Cause everyone else is wearing one? We are suppose to be Christian girls who want to help boys not stumble but we are doing the complete opposite.

            Last year I really wanted to get a bikini and wear one for the summer. I asked my mom and of course she said no. This story is very similar to a lot of my friends. I am a Christian so my mom expects modesty from me. When she was trying to convince me she showed me this video. It really helped me see why its so important to cover up. I know that sometimes you just want to wear a freaking bikini and look cute but I don't think we are thinking about what this does to boys and the message you are sending. Also are you being a good example to younger girls that are watching you?

          Let's talk about this. So as we all probably know it seems like the girls who are wearing less or are more flirty with the boys get all the attention. Yes is certain places that is true. But let's get real, do you really want that kind of attention? As Christian girls we should want to go out with the guy that thinks higher of you for covering yourself. And if a guy doesn't understand what the big deal is then he is clearly not worth it.

       OK now that I got that out of the way hopefully I have inspired you to try and choose something a little more modest to buy this swim season.

One Piece

The first suit I wanted to show you was this really cute one piece i found from albionfit. They have really cute one pieces. They are more on the pricey side but I think that its worth it.

Bikini Top

The next suit I wanted to show you is this cute yet more covering bikini top. It is actually from pink which I don't think of when I think modest but that's OK. It's more covering on the top and the back is really cute and more supportive.

Tankini

Next I have a really adorable tankini. Normally girls that are trying to cover up more wear tankinis they are a great alternative. This one is from Target which means its going to be really affordable. I love this color and think that the peplum style is so cute and very flattering.

Midkini/High waisted

Next I have are some high waisted bottoms with a midkini top. I love wearing these cause you show skin but just enough and all in the right places. They used to wear these in the 50s and it looked so cute. I found this set at Delias which is really nice. Normally you have to buy them in separates.

Like I said you normally have to buy midkini and high waisted in separates so I just wanted to show you some other options if you didn't like the Delia's swim suit. These high waisted bottoms are from abercomie and fitch

And here is a really cute midkini top I found. I think is so super and girly and look great with tons of different high waisted bottoms. This top is from amazon surprisingly.
