Today I wanted to show you some pictures I took going around town. These are all from Japan from different places we visited. We did travel all around the island because we knew we would probably only visit once so we wanted to see everything. The weather was around 60 to 70 degrees the whole time we were there. Not warm enough for the beach but cold enough I always had a jacket. I hope you enjoy a little peek into my journey to Japan.
This is a picture I took at the beach. You will actually see it in a later post when I show you all my outfits because this was one of the beautiful backdrops. It was very foggy there most of the time making it hard to see far.
My brother is in the Marines and flies C1-30s. We went to see where he works and look at his planes. This is an actual C1-30 that cost millions of dollars so it was cool to see one in real life.
This was in Kokusai Street. It is a really long street with many little gifts you can buy. It was a really cool place and I thought I would see more Americans because it is more centered for tourist. But, I didn't see one other American there.
This is while we were at Kokusia Street. They were making this purple potato cake on this round stick thing. It was really interesting to watch them make it and we ended up getting a slice of this cake. It was really delicious and didn't taste little potatoes at all.
We also went to the Okinawa aquarium. It is the second largest in the world. They had tons and fish and even a huge whale! It was really interesting to see animals around the world.
This was outside the aquarium. They had sea creatures made by flowers. They also had a crab and a sting ray.
This is a picture from "American Village." Though you might think, they it didn't have anything American. It was still all Japanese.
Here is a little car I took a picture of. There was a lot of these cute cars around town. I never saw a car as big as a mini van.
This is a picture taken from a private beach we went to. It was really beautiful and blue!
This is when we went to get sushi. They send your sushi out on a conveyer belt and you take it off and eat it. It was the most delicious and fresh sushi I have ever had.
This was the Shurijo Castle we visited. The people are all standing around because they were getting ready to do a reenactment.
This was in Tokyo on our way back. It was our last night and we went out to eat on this street to a nice little Thai restaurant.
Well those are just some of our many adventures in Japan. Check back again soon for a post all about the fashion in Japan!
