We had an amazing speaker this week and i learned a lot. He had some really good points Tuesday Wednesday and today. I will give you a little over view on this lessons.
1. Dating in high school is not a good idea. UNLESS it is glorifying to God.
2. Make sure you are spending more time with God and your friends in real life then on social media. And also try not to make it all about you. (example~on instagram limit our selfies to...none.)
3.You need to thank God for everything in your life. What if you had only what you thanked God for yesterday. We would probably all be dead. Because I don't know about you but I didn't thank God that my heart is beating, or I can hear and see. I think not being grateful is a pretty bad problem in teens today. I know looking at my life I must look like such a brat to those kids that don't have an amazing family, warm delicious food on the table EVERY night, a school/church were I can worship God out in the open.
I took a lot from these lessons and I wish you guys could have been there. And if you were then i hope he touched you like he did me!
Back to the challenge. During my last hour today (Spanish) I was thinking I should make a list of all the things I was grateful for. So, instead of paying attention I made a list. It is really full but not full enough. Take it from me you should probably wait to do this AFTER school because the teacher called on me today while I was writing my list and I had NO idea what she was talking about!
The challenged is to make a list of all the things you are thankful for and tape in in your locker, on your mirror or, wherever you will see it a lot. And when you are talking to God try to go though some of the things on your paper. It will be amazing when you are writing this. At first you will be like..."OK, my family, friends and food, that's all I got!" then by the end you will be like "wow! I am blessed! and going to need another page!" So, let me know how this went and I hope you learned something!
