On Monday nights I have Ballet. For the class I have to put my hair in a bun. Lots of people in my class have really lazy buns and it is kind of annoying. haha....

The girls in the older classes however, have really cool buns. There is this one girl that always has this one sided dutch braid bun and i really like it. So, on Monday night I did it to my hair and took pictures for you even if they are a little crappy! Also i have curly hair but this bun will work on all hair types. But, if you have really short hair it might not work. This is normally how I wear my hair for ballet. It is a really nice detailed bun that is pretty simple. Also it holds your hair really well even if you have bangs.

*First you want to deep part your hair.

*next you want to section off 3 groups of hair.

*Then dutch braid your hair. (Dutch braiding is just like french braiding but you go under instead of over)
When you get to a little below your ear just braid it to the end.

(If you don't know how to dutch braid then you can watch this video)

*Next you are going to take that hair that was not in the braid and make it into a bun. All you are going to do is put your hair in a low pony tail then wrap it around and secure it with bobby pins! (sorry that my pony tail holder is sticking out i didn't see that!) And yes that i my hair in my mouth i had to hole it so i could take the picture hahahah.
*Then rap your braid around your bun and secure it and there you go a really cute bun!

Hope your enjoyed!

  1. This is sooooo cute! You could do it with a fishtail braid too.
