2.Also I have a playlist on my IPod with energetic song for abs and warm up then slower songs for stretching!
3.You want to warm up your body so you can do around 30 jumping jacks
4.Next just loosen up the body with arm circles hip movements.
5.Then I do these stretches for a song.
When I'm done with the right side I do the left side for a song.
lunge
butterfly
straddle
Now I do abs for a whole song
I do different things with my legs
bicycles
Then I do the splits for a whole song. If you cant go all the way down then you can sit on a pillow so it is more comfortable. (For sliding down into the splits you might want to get off your yoga mat)
what I wear when I work out
An athletic shirt. Today was cold so I wore a hoodie
Some sweat pants (good for sliding down on the splits)
or athletic shorts (I know these blues are clashing sorry about that!)
some sock also helpful with the splits
and my hair pulled back with a head band
