3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond
2c flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1. Mix first 5 ingredients together in order.Mix dry ingredients. Combine. When it is all mixed up wrap the dough in plastic wrap, forming a long tube.
2.refrigerate for 1 hour (or more)
3. preheat oven to 350* F
4.Take out your tube of dough and cut it into 4 different chunks
5.Put three of your chunks in the fridge.
6.Get out your "amazing plastic cling wrap" and tear off 2 pieces put one piece down on your works space. Then put your dough on top of it then put down the other piece on top of your dough it should look something like this...
7.With a rolling pin roll on top of the plastic wrap until the dough is as thin as you want it then put it in the freezer for 20 mins. Repeat this for the rest of the dough chunks.
8.When 20 mins is up take out one of your doughs, your cookie sheets, and your cookie cutters, oil your cookie sheet.
9. Cut out of your dough into hearts or whatever shape your have and put them on your cookie sheets. Make sure that they are not touching.
Make sure if you are not using dough to keep it in the fridge or freezer becuase I let my dough sit out too long and after 10 mins in the oven they looked like this
My poor sad little hearts :( if your hearts turn out like this then just cut them into the shape you want!
The next batch turned out beautifully, but were eaten up before I could get a picture of them.
note to self: Tell family you are making a blog about your cookies and to let you take a picture of them before they are gobbled up
10.bake for 8-10 minutest
let completely cool
Icing
2 egg whites
2 tps lemon juice
4 cups powdered sugar
1.Beat egg whites in electric mixer until stiff. Add sugar and lemon juice till runny. Add food coloring if you want.
2.Take out about a 1/4 cup of your icing and place it in a bowl. Add a bit more sugar to make it thicker. This will be for your outer border line for the cookies.
3. Place your thicker icing in a plastic bag or a icing bag with a small hole. Take your cookies and your thick icing and make an outline of your shape. With a spoon drizzzle a little of the thinner icing into the middle of the outline and completely fill it in.
I wish i had a picture of this but i forgot to take the pictures when i was icing them! If you don't understand this then look up "royal icing recipe and video" it tells you all about it!

I love the back of this first dress it's so detailed. the second dress is very simple yet elegant i also love that color. the 3rd dress is cute short red dress but it has a litteral twist to it.
I dont know whats going on with this little girl but she is so cute and she is wearing a cute pink dress!
I really like the way it drapes and the multiple bands around the waist.
i really like this outfit. It's casual and fun! the basketball shoes are the best! They are probably not the best for running in but hey, you would look really cute on the court.
I dont know what the front of this first dress is but the back is very drffrent. The second dress would be great for a Christmas party as well as a Valentines Day party. the last dress looks like a cool summer dress that would look great with some cowgirl boots.
Tell your family and friends you love them because you might not see them again!!
Have a wonderful love filled Valentines Day!!!
Thanks Bella
